Anthy Himemiya -
Adolescence of utena

Made: April 2015 - June 2015

Construction:
Dress - I used Simplicity pattern ---- with white and red cotton and black trimming lines all the edges of the dress.  The white trail is made out of two layers. One is cotton the other is ----

Crown - This is simply made out of craft foam spray painted gold and glued onto a wire that hooks onto the wig.

Epaulettes -   Foam was used for the gold bars.  I got a dense styrofoam ball, sanded it down and painted it gold.  Then I used a Dremel to carve a space for the tassel to fit in.  Everything was hot glued together and attaches with velcro

Wig - I bought a cheap wig on ebay and used -this tutorial- to make gravity defying bangs and -this turorial- to make the hair line
Broach - The circle is made out of a googly eye.  I took out the backing and sanded the inside to make the paint stay.  The triangle is made out of foam and spray painted gold.
